¶ How to Identify the Goggles X Hardware Version
Please note that the head tracking board and the main control board must be used as a matching set. Different Goggles X hardware versions use different head tracking boards. If you want to replace the head tracking mainboard to add the built-in head tracking function, the complete set of mainboards must be replaced. Installing incompatible hardware may cause the device to malfunction, short circuit, or become damaged.
¶ Method 1
- Check the Goggles X product packaging for a Built-in head tracking label. Some production batches may not have this label.
¶ Method 2
- Check the production date. Goggles X units manufactured from January 2025 onward have a built-in head tracking module. Units manufactured before this date do not have the built-in head tracking module.
¶ Method 3
- Power on the goggles and check whether the Head Tracking option in the menu is grayed out. If the option can be accessed normally, the Goggles X has a built-in head tracking module. If the option is grayed out and cannot be accessed, the goggles do not have the built-in head tracking module.

¶ Solution 1

Goggles X units without a built-in head tracking module must use an external expansion module to enable head tracking. This module can be purchased from the official website or official store.
¶ Solution 2
If the expansion module is already installed but the Head Tracking option in the menu still cannot be accessed:
The connected 3.5 mm audio cable may be incorrect. Goggles X must use a 4-to-5-pin 3.5 mm audio cable, with the 5-pin end connected to Goggles X.

If neither of the solutions above resolves the issue, the internal I/O board of the Goggles X may be faulty. Please contact official after-sales support for assistance.
