- When flying frequently around rivers, lakes, or other bodies of water, there is always a risk of the aircraft falling into the water. Taking immediate action after water ingress is critical to minimizing damage to the equipment.

Water damage caused during use is considered improper use and is not covered by the free warranty service.
- Cleaning solution, such as alcohol
- A clean toothbrush
- Screwdrivers
- A hair dryer
- Thermal gel
¶ Maintenance Procedure
- Remove the air unit housing and take out the PCBA.
- Use a tissue or lint-free wipe to remove the blue thermal gel from the PCBA.
- Rinse the PCBA with alcohol.
- Apply alcohol to a clean toothbrush and gently brush the PCBA, making sure to clean around components, connectors, and other small gaps.
- Use a hair dryer to continuously dry the PCBA for at least 10 minutes. Make sure all remaining moisture has completely evaporated before proceeding.
- Carefully inspect the PCBA for signs of burned components, physical damage, or missing components.
- If there are no signs of burned or missing components, you may attempt to power on the device using the lowest input voltage supported by the product.
- For example, if a device supports an input voltage range of 9–25.2 V, begin testing at 9 V and check whether all functions operate normally.
- If any burned, damaged, or missing components are found, do not power on the device. Contact after-sales support and send the product to an authorized service center for inspection and repair.
- During the maintenance procedure above, it is recommended to thoroughly clean the PCBA with alcohol, such as 75% ethanol or 70% isopropyl alcohol.
- Use a non-woven or lint-free cloth to clean the camera, metal components, plastic surfaces, and other parts as required.
¶ What Can Happen Without Immediate Maintenance
- If the PCBA is not cleaned and dried promptly after water ingress, residual moisture may corrode electronic components and the PCBA.
- Severe corrosion can permanently damage the PCBA and its components, potentially making the device impossible to repair.
