¶ When to Use
- When using the repeater for the first time, the receiver unit, repeater, and Air Unit must be bound together.
- After switching modes on the receiver unit, the devices must be bound again.
¶ What You Need
- One Avatar receiver unit
- One Avatar Air Unit
- One Avatar Repeater
- One small cooling fan
¶ Procedure
¶ Step 1: Update the Firmware
- Make sure all Avatar devices are running the latest firmware.

¶ Step 2: Enable Repeater Mode
¶ Step 3: Bind the Devices

The repeater must be bound in the correct order. First bind the ground unit to the repeater, then bind the Air Unit to the repeater.

Short-press the BIND VRX button on the repeater. The repeater’s VRX LED will change from flashing green to solid red. Then short-press the Bind button on the ground unit.
- Short-press the BIND VTX button on the repeater. The repeater’s VTX LED will change from flashing green to solid red. Then short-press the Bind button on the Air Unit.
- If the ground unit displays the video feed normally, Binding is successful. If Binding fails, check whether all devices are running compatible firmware versions.

The repeater must be bound in the correct order. First bind the ground unit to the repeater, then bind the Air Unit to the repeater.
