- The air unit has entered Binding Mode and its LED is solid red, but the receiver unit still does not display a video feed.
- Even if the supply voltage is sufficient, the device may not operate correctly if the power source cannot provide enough current.
- Ensure that the devices receive sufficient power. For example, the Avatar HD GT air unit requires at least 12 V for normal operation. A 12 V supply is also recommended for the receiver unit.
- Some flight controller BECs cannot provide sufficient power and may overheat and enter protection mode during operation.
- A 12 V, 2–3 A power supply is recommended, or connect the air unit directly to a suitable battery voltage to ensure stable operation.
- To enter Binding Mode, briefly press and immediately release the Bind button. Do not press and hold the button continuously.
- If the air unit LED flashes slowly after startup, the air unit cannot detect a camera signal.
- The camera-related fault must be resolved before the air unit can enter Binding Mode.
- This issue is commonly caused by a loose or damaged coaxial cable. Reconnecting or replacing the coaxial cable may resolve the problem.
- If all the conditions above have been ruled out and the devices have successfully entered Binding Mode but still fail to Bind, strong electromagnetic interference may be present nearby.
- Place the receiver unit and air unit close together, turn off nearby electronic or RF equipment, and try Binding again.
This situation is extremely uncommon. Check the other possible causes first.
